Out of the Mouths of Babes!

All three of our kids go to a private school at our church here in our small town in Mississippi. We love the school and wouldn't have it any other way. We feel the kids are learning so much more than just their ABCs and 123s. For one it's a corporal punishment school and the paddle in the "school administrator's" office is heavily used. They issue demerits for everything from not having your homework to having a negative attitude. Plus they learn the scriptures, and the 5 year old can already write in cursive - CURSIVE!!!
We typically have no problems with the kids. Okay, we typically have no problems with the older kids. Our youngest is making me sprout some grey hairs I tell ya. We just had the SATs. No big deal. All the kids had to take them, even the youngest going into Kindergarten. (Kim started school at age 3, at her school they start Kindergarten at 3; K3, K4, then regular Kindergarten where she'll be next year).
So, imagine my surprise when I picked the kids up and her teacher said "We had a small issue today with Kimmie."
Me, nervously clearing my throat, "Really?" But in the back of mind "Oh craaaaaap!"
The teacher continues, "Yes, we had finished testing and had all the students lined up in the hall to return to class and the pastor had come over and was Congratulating everyone....(long pause).....he was high-fiving all the kids but Kim wouldn't put her hand up so he didn' high-five her, then I guess she wanted a high-five, but he had already passed her so she got mad and yelled "Fine, I don't even like you anyway PREACHER-MAN!" So she didn't get a hand stamp today."
Awesome!
